Blogtober Challenge 13: Why I Love Ben

Ben, for me, is the perfect guy. He is too good to be true. I admit that I was indifferent when I first learned of him. I thought that he was like any other.

Opportunity seemed to have laughed at me when circumstances brought us together. When I first laid my eyes on him, I just knew that he was the one. Ben is perfection for me. If I did not love my home court then I would have left for Ben in a heartbeat.

I was skeptical at first but the further that I got to know him, the further I fell in love.

M&M's World London

London is diverse, colorful, and is available for everyone. Just like a pack of M&M’s.

These are the reasons why I was attracted then infatuated to Ben. After that, I was in love.

1. He is a walk in the park.

Ben is very efficient. He has a system when he travels around. Whenever I am with him, I feel that I could go anywhere with ease. I am not afraid of getting lost or of losing track because I know getting back around him is easy.

Westminster Station

The Tube is possibly the most efficient transport system that I have ever used.

The awesome thing about Ben is that I don’t even need to rely on his systems. I can walk all around him for hours and I still will not get lost.

Green Park

I was in London during the August 2015 Tube strike. I did not even notice it. I was busy looking at the view.

2. He is a culture buff.

Wicked at the Apollo Victoria

This is the first of the many plays that I have watched in London.

Ben is such a learned man. He knows all around like things from science to art to architecture to food to literature to theatre and much much more. I never get bored when I am with Ben. I have been going out with him for almost a year now yet I am still excited. I always have something new to try when I am with him. He can always come up with surprises for me. I am just hooked.

Found this antique camera stall in Portobello – collector heaven

3. He is a gentleman.

Ben is a sweetheart. His parents raised him well. He says his P’s and Q’s. He opens the door for me. He lets me pass first. He is always polite like so polite that I sometimes wonder if he ever gets angry. He is kind, caring, and compassionate too. He is quite ideal as he does know how to take care of me.

Queen Victoria Monument

She really does know how to run an empire.

4. He is so handsome.

He has features that are beautifully unique. I am proud to say that his face is the top of all. Everyone grabs influence from his magnificence. I am like “How does he exist?” His beauty is something to be remembered for eons to come. No joke.

My first snapshot of Ben.

5. He is friendly.

Everyone loves him. Have you seen his friends? He welcomes everyone. He even takes the time to learn his friends more and to get closer to him. Expect that when you become friends with Ben then you are friends for life. He does not choose race, culture, or color. If you want to know Ben then he wants to know you too.

Abbey Road

That is me crossing that famous pedestrian lane. Errrmmm… Fab One?

6. He is talented.

Sherlock Holmes Museum

I actually squealed when I discovered that 221b Baker St actually exists. (A hidden gem for me for my real purpose to going to Baker St was the next-door Beatles store.)

He is not all bark. Oh no, Ben can perform. He can sing and dance. He can involve himself in a debate. He is a Jack of All Trades. Yet, He is a Master of All Trades too. Like, he is so unreal. Ben is very diverse. His talents cater to everyone.

Diagon Alley

As a Potterhead, this is a must! Welcome to Warner Bros. Studios, London!

Scottish bagpipe player

Work that kilt, honey!!! Blare up those pipes!!!!

7. He is articulate.

Ben oozes confidence. His stance is so posh. His fashion sense fits the centerfold pages of a magazine. His attention to detail is immaculate. From his performances and to the thing he makes, it is quite pleasing to the eye. Ben knows his stuff. He is going in the books.

Red Riding Hood in the city

I have no idea who she is but I physically stopped myself from ripping that gorgeous red coat from her and running off into the sunset.

Windsor fudge master

He makes high-grade homemade fudge. He puts all his effort in his concoctions and in his perfectly-twirled mustache.

For the past year that I have known and loved him, I have only visited Ben for at least seven times. It has been two months since I last saw Ben. I miss him terribly. Hopefully, I can come back in his arms soon. I hope he misses me too.

Ben has many friends. If you are one of them or aspire to be one of them, contact me. I bet we will have lots of fun once we get to see him.

    • I am humbled really. This really boosts my confidence since I barely started to publish my work. I am dreaming of something as ambitious as that although I don’t know how to start.

  1. The first story should go “Ben and the impossible girl”, cause you, my lady are magical. At least with words and transcendence of your storytelling. Only few people can make others feel like they are somewhere else; and you are one of those 🙂 Just natural

  2. I LOVE Ben too, but I didn’t know he went by that name. I have not finished yesterday’s post yet, but after mulling all day decided he was my top pick. I call her London though. Great post, I enjoyed every photo and memory. I miss her so much, it’s been way too long since we hung out. X

But seeing as i am only an hour away by train I get there when I want to. Let me know when you are visiting Ben next. We can make it a Ben-thon hehehe

    • You are???? Lucky human being. I was trying to get a flight for next week but I could not fly far from the Philippines because of documentation requirements that I need to take care of. Say ‘hi’ to him for me.
